If you start a new crochet or knitting project, you often start with a slip knot. Here you can learn how to make one. Just follow the step by step instructions in the photo’s.
1 Pick up your yarn, fold it so you get a loop
2 Twist that loop by a half turn
3 Pull some yarn that leads to the ball through the loop
4 Pull tight. If you can slide the knot up and down the yarn, you know you did it right
Once you have your slip knot, you can place it over your knitting needle or crochet hook and pull it tight. Now you are ready to go! Have fun 🙂
